SOHO Organizer Tour: Calendar Management
Schedule meetings, manage group projects, share to-do lists.

SOHO Organizer is the easiest way to manage both personal and shared calendars on Mac OS X. It sports a comprehensive set of tools for managing events, tasks, alarms, daily notes, and even journal entries. Plus, it is tightly integrated with your contacts making it easy to schedule appointments with your family, friends, and clients.

Share Calendars
Publish Calendars
You can share your calendars with other people to show them what you're doing or when you're busy or free. Simply publish your calendar on the Internet and then others can view it using SOHO Organizer or Apple's iCal. Published calendars are "read-only" so they can't be changed by others.
Subscribe To Calendars
Subscribe to calendars that others have published on the Internet (all you need to know is the URL of the iCal calendar). You can also click on links to published iCal calendars on the Internet or in emails to subscribe.
CalDAVIndustry First
Use CalDAV to publish calendars, events, and tasks on the Internet and collaborate on them (read and write access). CalDAV is an open standard calendar access protocol that allows access to calendars that are in the popular iCalendar format over the WebDAV extensions to the HTTP protocol.
Import/Export vCal
Import and export calendar data in the industry-standard vCal format. vCal files are easily transmitted between computers and provide a quick and easy way to transfer calendar data between different applications.
Calendar Views
Super-Month View
The Super-Month view is more than a regular month view. You can customize it to show a single month or multiple months at a time. This makes it possible to easily schedule events that cross month boundaries. Plus, you can choose whether you want to see multiple months displayed all at once in your window or whether you want to scroll through the months (nice if your monitor isn't huge).
Week View
The Week view lets you easily see from 5 to 14 days of your schedule at once. Plus, you can customize it to fit your work week. For example, if your work week is Monday through Friday, you can have it just display those days.
Day View
The Day view gives you a comprehensive overview of your day. It contains separate regions to let you view and edit events, tasks, and daily notes. Plus, it has a convenient list of all your calendars so you can easily filter which events and tasks you see.

The Day view now gives you two convenient options for displaying your events. The Hourly Schedule option shows all the hours in the day which makes it easy for you to locate free times. The Event List option shows a list of events for the day in the order they occur and thus provides a more succinct display option.
Calendar List View
The Calendar List view gives you a convenient way to view and edit events and tasks. Plus, you can sort on up to five columns at once in ascending or descending order.
Year View
The Year View makes it easy to see an entire year at a glance and quickly jump to any day to see your schedule.

TIP! The Year View can be customized to show multiple years. This is useful for scheduling events across year boundaries and for long-term planning.
Mini-Month Navigators
Relevant calendar views can contain one or more mini-months to make it easy to quickly navigate to a different date in the view.
Daily NotesIndustry First
Use the built-in Daily Notes feature to conveniently track daily events, conversations, travel expenses, etc.

TIP! Your daily notes automatically show up in a special Daily Notes folder in SOHO Notes where you can also view and edit them.
Journal ViewIndustry First
SOHO Organizer makes it easy to keep a daily journal or diary. A dedicated journal view is always only a click away and it includes full word processing capabilities so you can easily add photos, movies, sound clips, etc. to your journal entries.

TIP! Your journal entries automatically show up in a special Journal folder in SOHO Notes where you can also view and edit them.
Calendar Features
Alarms
Assign alarms to your events and tasks so you never miss anything important. Alarms will go off even if SOHO Organizer isn't running and give you options for dismissing, snoozing, or getting more information about the alarm.
Attach Attendees To Events & Tasks
There is often a close relationship between your appointments or tasks and the people in your address book. For example, a meeting might involve several co-workers or you might have a task to prepare a document for a client. SOHO Organizer makes it fast and easy to form these relationships by letting you attach an unlimited number of contacts to any event or task.
