SOHO Notes is like a really big drawer—just throw all your notes and other information into it, then use the powerful note viewer to retrieve anything with just one click. This fourth generation note manager is your trusted companion and offers you experience and leadership through its many "industry-first" features.

Organize Your Notes
Hierarchical Folders
Organize your notes into folders and sub-folders. You can create as many folders and sub-folders as you'd like. Plus, you can assign a different icon to each folder for easier identification. You can view your folder hierarchy in either a large or small size.

TIP. Notes can be assigned to more than one folder at the same time for maximum organization flexibility.
Smart Folders
Use Smart Folders to display notes that are stored in other folders that match specific criteria you have defined. For example, you can create a Smart Folder that will display all the notes that have been flagged or have the word “Vacation” in them. Smart Folders are a quick and easy way to group related notes scattered across multiple folders into a single location without having to physically move the notes into a single folder.
Tags
Assign tags to your notes so you can later search and find notes by tag. SOHO Notes keeps track of the tags you use so it can auto-complete the tags for you the next time you enter one.
Note Linking
Create relationships between notes by linking related notes to one another. Links can be created via simple drag and drop. When you select a note in the viewer window, any notes linked to that note will be highlighted in a special color to visually indicate the relationship.
Tabbed Note ViewerIndustry First
An all-new Note Viewer lets you open multiple notes in tabs just like Safari. This means you can simultaneously work on multiple notes in a single window saving precious screen real-estate. Plus, you can have different search results displayed in each tab along with different folder selections.
Instant Note SummariesIndustry First
The Note Viewer window contains a summary column that displays a brief summary for each listed note to help you quickly identify the note you're looking for. The Summary column is particularly useful when performing searches since it shows the search terms in bold so you can quickly see the context of your search results without manually flipping through each note—a real time-saver.
Custom FormsIndustry First
Form notes are used to store and display information that you have entered into forms that you define. For example, you can define a “Credit Card” form to keep track of the information for all your credit cards. It might have fields on the form like “Card Name”, “Card Number”, “Expiration Date”, and “Customer Service Phone Number”.
256-bit Encryption
You can mark a note as private if you wish to keep its contents confidential (passwords, account numbers, etc). The contents of private notes are automatically encrypted using the Advanced Encryption Standard (US FIPS PUB 197) algorithm with a 256-bit key (AES-256). In June 2003, the US Goverment announced that AES may be used for classified information:
“The design and strength of all key lengths of the AES algorithm (i.e., 128, 192 and 256) are sufficient to protect classified information up to the SECRET level. TOP SECRET information will require use of either the 192 or 256 key lengths. The implementation of AES in products intended to protect national security systems and/or information must be reviewed and certified by NSA prior to their acquisition and use.”— Committee on National Security Systems

SOHO Notes comes with a broad collection of icons that you can use to help give your folders an identity. Now you can also assign your own graphics like a company logo or photo to your folders.
