Use QuickNote to compose a note on-the-fly without launching SOHO Notes. QuickNote is always available from any application so you can compose a note no matter what you're doing or what you're in the middle of.

Control-click in your web browser or other application to instantly store your selection in SOHO Notes. A contextual menu will appear to help you categorize your selection.

Choose Services from an application's application menu to grab and store the selected content in SOHO Notes.

Press a hot key of your choosing in your e-mail client or other application to instantly store your selection in SOHO Notes.

Drag content to DockNote on the side of your screen. DockNote will automatically slide out so you can drop your content into any folder. A new note will be created and saved in the folder where you dropped your content.

Drag and drop content to the SOHO Notes icon in the Mac OS X Dock OR to the SOHO Notes viewer window. The content will be automatically added to SOHO Notes.
TIP. You can also drag files and folders from the Finder to the SOHO Notes application icon or viewer window. SOHO Notes will automatically preserve the folder heirarchy you're dragging and dropping.

SOHO Notes notes are stored in the industry standard rich text format which means a) your data isn't locked in some proprietary format; and b) you can move information into and out of SOHO Notes with ease and confidence.
SOHO Notes can import text, rich text (RTF & RTFD), basic Microsoft Word (.doc)*, HTML*, and other file formats. Plus, you can import sticky notes from Apple Stickies. * Does not support all formatting features.

Print online receipts, reservations, etc. directly to SOHO Notes from the Print dialog of any application. A new PDF note will automatically be saved in SOHO Notes.
