Park City, Utah - January 27, 2006 -- Chronos LLC today announced that Universal application versions of its entire product line are now available for Intel -based Macs. Todays announcement means SOHO Organizer, SOHO Contacts, SOHO Calendars, SOHO Notes, SOHO Print Essentials, SOHO Business Cards, SOHO Labels & Envelopes, SOHO Signs, StickyBrain, and F10 Launch Studio now run natively on both Power PC- and Intel-based Macintosh computers.
"Weve been using Cocoa for over three years and that decision really paid off when it came to building Universal versions of our applications, said Robert McCullough, Chronoss vice president of Development. All we had to do was flip a switch to compile for Intel processors and the rest is history. Plus, now that all of our software is written in Cocoa, we can just as easily take advantage of future innovations from Apple.
"The speed of the new iMacs and the simplicity of our Xcode and Cocoa tools has given Apple developers the opportunity to quickly deliver powerful native applications for Intel processors, said Ron Okamoto, Apples vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations. "Were delighted Chronos was prepared to move their entire product line over to Universal applications and is shipping them within two weeks since our introduction."
