Press Release

Chronos Releases SOHO Notes 6.0, "The premier note manager for Mac OS X"
Park City, Utah - May 29, 2007 -- Chronos LC today announced the release of SOHO Notes 6.0, a MAJOR upgrade to its class-leading note manager for Mac OS X. This new version makes it easier than ever for users to get organized and bring harmony to their digital life. SOHO Notes 6.0 is a $25 upgrade for registered SOHO Notes and StickyBrain users.

According to Robert McCullough, V.P. of Development at Chronos, "SOHO Notes continues its leadership position with innovative features like Forms which allow users to store their information in fields they define. The new SOHO Notes also lets users organize their information the way THEY want to with 5 different options (more than any other Mac note manager): hierarchical folders, smart folders, keywords, links, and labels. If that's not enough, users can capture information in more than 10 different ways (again, more than any other Mac note manager) including the newly-added scanner support. The new SOHO Notes is the easiest way for users to capture and store all their information in one place."

MAJOR NEW FEATURES

• Forms. Users can design their own custom forms with fields specific to the information they want to store. For example, a credit card form with Name, Number, Expiration Date, and Customer Service Phone Number could be used to store information for multiple credit cards.
• Smart Folders. Users can define Smart Folders to include notes that meet specific criteria. Smart Folders are useful for aggregating related notes regardless of the actual folder(s) the note belongs to.
• Scanning. Users can scan single or multi-page documents with a flat bed or document scanner directly into SOHO Notes as PDF notes.
• Keywords. Users can assign reusable keywords to their notes so they can later search and find their notes by keyword.
• 256-bit Encryption. Private notes are now securely encrypted using 256-bit encryption (AES-256--approved by U.S. Government for classified information) to safeguard user's important and confidential information.
• Custom Folder Icons. Users can give their folders an identity using the large collection of folder icons that come with SOHO Notes or they may use their own graphics like company logos, photos, etc.

ENHANCEMENTS, OPTIMIZATIONS, FIXES

SOHO Notes 6.0 also includes other enhancements, optimizations and bug fixes which are detailed on the Chronos web site at <www.chronosnet.com>. These include: a) additional backup options to control when backups occur; b) support for new Blogger accounts; c) ability to search notes by label or keyword; and d) a new labels column.
